The Marbella Club Development Team - Candelero Point Partners, Inc.(CPP) is the developer of The Marbella Club. The two development principals of CPP are James Harvie and Agustin Cabrer. The major capital partner is V. Suarez & Co., one of Puerto Rico's largest privately held companies. CPP retains professional staff qualified in construction, sales, rentals, marketing, and finance.
Mr. Harvie, has over 35 years of development experience of residential, multifamily, office, and hotel developments in Puerto Rico and the northeast of the United States. Prior to initiating The Marbella Club, Mr. Harvie was the President of Palmas del Mar Property Inc., the owner and developer of the 2700 acre master planned community, Palmas del Mar, in which The Marbella Club is located. He is experienced in land acquisition, permitting, marketing, construction, finance, and property management. Mr. Harvie graduated from Yale College and Harvard Business School, and is a member of the Urban Land Institute.
Mr Cabrer, is the President of Starlight Development Corp and Antonio Roig Sucesores. Both firms have completed several residential communities in Puerto Rico and Miami. Formerly Mr. Cabrer spent 20 years in investment banking as President of Kidder Peabody-Puerto Rico and previously as Executive Vice President of Prudential Bach Financial Services, Inc.. He is a director at V. Suarez & Co. and UBS Financial Services, as well as a trustee of The University of Puerto Rico. He attended Clarkson University and is a member of the Urban Land Institute.
